• Kate Lavanga

Kate is a former long-distance runner and busy Mom who loves working to help all of her training clients achieve their maximum potential to live a healthy lifestyle through creating programs that will help them move well and be strong.  Kate’s eye for detail and customized programming will help identify each individual’s needs ensuring that everyone gets the most out of their training so they can enjoy an active life!

In 2007 Kate became an AFAA Certified Personal Trainer.  After a colleague piqued her interest in kettlebells, she earned her level 1 RKC (Russian Kettlebell Challenge) instructor certification and is currently certified as a Strongfirst (SFG) Level 1 Instructor.  In 2010, she became a Certified Kettlebell Functional Movement Specialist. Also in 2010, Kate achieved her certification as an IYCA Youth Fitness Specialist.  In addition, Kate has attended training in level 2 kettlebell skills, in Olympic and Powerlifting and Strength Programming.  Kate has been an assistant instructor at RKC level 1 in 2011 and 2012.
